“I’m undaunted in my quest to amuse myself by constantly changing my hair.” ~ Hillary Clinton
So, I only have this product because I got it as a stocking present for Christmas, it’s not something I would usually buy for myself, but I want to tell you about it because it’s really awesome.
VO5 Norish My Shine Miracle Hair Concentrate claims to: help visibly repair dry, frizzy hair, leave hair unbelievably smooth and silky soft, add radient shine, and help reduce damage caused by blow drying.
It can do all this, apparently, because it’s made with Aragan oil.
Now, until I dyed it brown last week I’d been bleaching my hair blonde for the last few years, I regularly wrap it all up in a bun with a few hair ties and then sleep without taking them out, and I haven’t had it cut since the summer.
So by the time I got this little elixir it was in a pretty bad way, especially the ends – by which I mean the bottom third of my hair. It was dry, and brittle, and frizzy, and I really needed to get an appointment with a hairdresser to sort it out.
I assumed that the blurb on the bottle was vastly exaggerating but I thought I might as well give it a lash.
You use it by putting a few drops, I’ve been going with 8-10 and there’s a dropper in the bottle top, into the palm of your hand and then running it all through your washed and towel dried hair. After which you blow dry.
And the difference it made was really noticeable from day one. My hair looked a lot healthier, less broken, and it was nice and soft.
Now it could still use a cut in the not too distant future but it looks good enough that I can start wearing it down again and it feels all silky, which I think is pretty amazing.
And I imagine if used it on hair that was nice already you’d end up with super duper princess hair, which would be even better.
